Irinotecan

Irinotecan HCL Injection is used alone or in a combination with other medications to treat colon or rectal cancer (cancer that begins in the large intestine.) Irinotecan is in a class of antineoplastic medications called topoisomerase I inhibitors which works by stopping the growth of cancer cells. This product is in a liquid form and is given intravenously over a 90 minute time period. Irinotecan is sometimes used with other medications to treat small cell lung cancer.

STORAGE: Irinotecan injection should be stored at room temperature, but not to exceed 86 F, this is NOT A REFIGERATED PRODUCT. Expiration Dating is 24 months.
